Ranikot Fort

The 17th century Ranikot Fort is a historic fort in Talpur near Sann, Jamshoro, Sindh. Ranikot Fort is also known as the Great Wall of Sindh and is said to be the largest fort in the world with a circumference of around 32 kilometres (20 mi). The ramparts of the fort have been compared to the Great Wall of China.

Gorakh Hills

Gorakh’s elevation, around 1200 m., gives it a special climate, with temperatures below zero in winter and generally below 20°C (68°F) in summer, with around 120 mm of average annual rainfall. The Sindh government is constructing a new road connecting Dadu to Gorakh Hill. There is a new rest house for visitors on the hill. Tourists can arrange their own transport from Sehwan Sharif to the hill station. If you travel to Pakistan in winters and visit these Gorakh hills in Sindh, you might be lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful snowfall. Apart from the snowfall, you will also love the scenic views and the amazing atmosphere there.

White Palace, Swat

The Phite Palace is located in Swat. And you can stay there! The White Palace Marghazar Swat hotel is now fully open and the situation is safe again in Swat. The White Palace was built in 1941 by the 1st King of Swat Valley (Mian Gul Abdul Wadood). Later, the palace was transformed into a tourist hotel. The hotel is located 7000 feet above sea level on the Marghazar hill. The Swat valley offers beautiful views and good service and food.

 

The White Palace of Marghazar was built in 1940 by the first king of Swat, Miangul Abdul Wadud in the small town of Marghazar located about 13 kilometres from Saidu Sharif. The name was given to the palace because it was built in white marble. The palace now serves as a hotel. The White Palace of Marghazar was the summer residence of the Wali of Swat, Miangul Jehanzeb. Located 7,000 feet above sea level on the Marghazar hill, it was later converted into a tourist resort.
