Who doesn’t enjoy ice cream in our house? This recipe I came across is so ridiculously simple that it will blow your mind! And it’s so good that it’s almost embarrassing to tell people how easy it is to make it when they rave about how delicious this homemade ice cream is!
There is no need for Gelato ice cream machine with this method, and no ice crystals are formed. With only three ingredients, this is the simplest and most delicious recipe I’ve ever made, and the creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had!
This recipe is known as No churn 2 ingredient ice cream and can be found all over the internet. With this recipe, I’ve made over 20 variations. This vanilla ice cream serves as the foundation, to which you can add a variety of flavours to create your own ice cream!
Vanilla Ice Cream
Preparation time 5 mins | Setting time 8 hours | Makes 1 litre
- Heavy whipping cream – 250 ml (I used tropolite)
- Fresh cream – 250 ml (I used amul)
- Condensed milk – 3/4th tin
- Vanilla – 2 tsp
In a mixing bowl, combine the whipping cream and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and whip on medium speed until soft peaks form. Approximately 5-6 minutes.
Whip in the fresh cream until smooth. Approximately 3 minutes.
Depending on your taste and preference, add the condensed milk.
Pour into a container, cover with cling wrap, and place in the freezer for 6-8 hours.
5Once it has set, scoop out however much you want, drizzle with chocolate sauce, toasted nuts, or chocolate chips, and enjoy the creamiest ice cream ever!
I couldn’t find dairy heavy whipping cream, so I substituted non-dairy cream. If you can find dairy heavy whipping cream, combine it with 2 cups of condensed milk to make vanilla ice cream. To taste, adjust the condensed milk.
