Shihezi University is the second largest university in Xinjiang, its predecessor was founded in 1949 by the Xinjiang People’s Liberation Army on the way to university college, in April 1996 after the merger formed the Ministry of Agriculture, Shihezi Agricultural University, MBBS in Shihezi University, Corps, and Economic Teachers College. Shihezi University is a national “211 project”, which is a central construction university, but also a western university.

Shihezi University is a State Central University under the direct control of the Chinese Ministry of Education and is listed as a university offering MBBS in English. With the approval of the Chinese Ministry of Education, Shihezi University can teach MBBS in English and start teaching medicine from the first day without the requirement of passing the HSK-4 test in the first year.
The clinical medicine course (MBBS) in English is officially listed in the admission letter.

Sikhej University is accredited by the PMC (formerly PMDC) of the Pakistan Medical Council and is a PMC List A university accredited by the WHO.
MBBS graduates from Sikhej University can also apply for USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK), AMC (Australia) and ECFMG qualifications.
The MBBS program is a six-year course that consists of five years of medical training and one year of internship.
So far, more than 13 groups of international students have graduated from the program. Most of the students are from Pakistan, but there are also students from India and Bangladesh.
Many of the students have completed PMC NLE, FCPS-1, and FCPS-11 and are working in reputed hospitals in Pakistan, India, and abroad, especially in Europe and the Middle East.

Admission Conditions.
Students must be under 25 years of age.
Applicants must have obtained at least 60% HSSC (pre-medical preparation)/A-Levels/ Grade 12.
Students must achieve at least 60% in science subjects (English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

Note: Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the fee package for the first year of study does not include accommodation, residence, and medical fees. Students are expected to pay all these fees (if required) on arrival as per actual cost depending on duration and cost.

All fees must be paid in Chinese Yuan (RMB) and are non-refundable.
Admission and administrative fees are payable by the student to the Admissions Office and are non-refundable once the student has enrolled at the university.
The student must pay the fee in RMB upon arrival, otherwise, he/she will not be allocated a residence room.
Food, airfare, electricity, and other miscellaneous expenses are not included in the fee package.
The student will follow the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and the Ministry of Health of China.
